what other events are possible?

We try to plan events other than camping and they typically last a few hours to part of a day. Specifics will be listed on the event calendar. 

For these activities we may travel to other cities, regions of Texas, and states since we are not limited to state parks. Check the calendar!

In the past we've hosted events such as:

• hiking

• fishing

• swimming or splash pad

• visiting amusement parks

• visiting a state fair or festival

• attending sporting events or concerts

• visiting a zoo, aquarium, museum, or nature center

• renting a cabin, condo, hotel, or airbnb, especially during the summer months

EXPECTATIONS for other events

NTKO leaders will help coordinate a plan, but all NTKO members will we responsible for all people in their group as well as equipment, payment, and travel to and from other events listed on the calendar. 

When collaboration for an event is required, members may be asked to join a group text or virtual meeting. 

refund policy

If you make your own reservations or pay individually and separately, you must abide by the refund policy of the venue or location. You are responsible for coordinating with the venue or location. 

If NTKO must make a reservation on your behalf and you cancel, there are no refunds. 

If the event is cancelled by the venue and they offer a refund to NTKO, then what you paid will become a credit that you may use for a future event. The credit will expire 1 year from date of issue.
